absence#1.2 – AntiKörper by IPtanz is a walk-in dance installation for young people between the ages of 13 and 17 about the disappearance, design and questioning of the biological body: the body can, may, must, will, shouldn’t, will … or not? absence#1.2 – AntiKörper goes in search of individuality and identity and asks what a possible future could look like and how it can be shaped. Two performers, two stage objects, an interactive video installation and the audience create new images and visions in every performance

IPtanz uses digital possibilities for the video installation and interaction with the audience during the course of the piece. The interactive level is also inspired by the principles of games and escape rooms: viewers can intervene and influence the further course of the play through their decisions.

absence#1.2 – AntiKörper is another installment in a multi-year series on disappearance. The focus of the artistic observation is the human being and his being in the network to the disappearance of individual aspects of his living space – each year with a different focus and very different partners.
