Dance theater by Juliette Villemin & Team in cooperation with TARTproduktion
If everything is public, what is private? Hasn’t the sale of private, even intimate things long been social normality? The dance theater by Juliette Villemin & Team explores questions like these for dance and its movement vocabulary.
Five performers, representing five generations, go in search of clues and, guided by the groove of a drum kit, gently and powerfully, explore the relationship between public and private from the movement.
INTIMACY is the first production in a multi-part series of projects in which the company Juliette Villemin & Team, in cooperation with TARTproduktion, examines the relationship between the public and private from different perspectives. For this research project, the company received the 3-year concept grant from LaFT BW from the Ministry of Science, Research and Art of Baden-Württemberg.
