Persian Fantasy

“Persian Fantasy” is a piano piece that emerged from a series of free improvisations by the Iranian-born pianist Nima Farahmand Bafi. Inspired by elements of classical Indian Kathak and Sufi dance, Anika Bendel designs a dance-like composition in contemporary dance style. You can see a chorography in which delicate, almost fragile, fleeting moments alternate with a self-confident expression and powerful dynamics.
