The cultural producers and TANZ_TAUSCH_PARTNERS Anika Bendel and Laurence Nagel have made it their goal to improve the working conditions and structures for artists in the independent scene who produce in Baden-Württemberg and to implement creative projects. The focus is on concepts and formats that respond to the call for more sustainability and potency of artistic work in the region and are intended to increase the radiance of regional work beyond national borders. At the interface between venues, production houses, artists and producers, a new space for networking and development is emerging, which enables individual and collective growth.
WHAT IS TANZ_TAUSCH?
TANZ_TAUSCH supports mid-career artists and young artists in their development – and has been doing so for over ten years. Together, the partners explore new possibilities for exchange in the contemporary dance scene and create concrete offers: through residencies, co-productions, showcase formats, festivals and network meetings, the TANZ_TAUSCH_NETZWERK actively and specifically supports choreographers, dancers and performance artists becoming visible in other cities and regions and to networking nationwide.
The partners in the network currently include the tanz.tausch festival Cologne, LOFFT – DAS THEATER Leipzig, Tafelhalle Nuremberg and TANZ_TAUSCH BW.
The TANZ_TAUSCH_NETWORK is supported by Bureau Ritter/TANZPAKT RECONNECT, which is funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media as part of the NEUSTART KULTUR initiative. Dance support programme
