The documentary “the lost move” by Bernhard M. Eusterschulte, Anika Bendel and Ebrahim Alfadhala traces the life of Stuttgart-based choreographer Juliette Villemin, who passed away in 2023. It tells the story of the upheavals and transformations of a dancer who—driven by the question of what dance can be—transformed her journey from classical ballet to contemporary dance: from Bilbao to Stuttgart, from the established theater to the often precarious realities of the independent scene. A portrait of artistic exploration and movement.
